I worked on projection design for a play called “The Man Who” directed by Jennie Scott at the Orange Tree Theatre, Richmond (Production design Tom Rogers, lighting Tony Simpson). “The Man Who” was first performed in 1994 at the National Theatre. It is a fascinating study of what Peter Brook refers to as ‘the valley of astonishment’, patients lost in the bizarre, apparently inescapable world of neurological disorders. Inspired by “The Man Who Mistook his Wife for a Hat” by the American neurologist Oliver Sacks.

I suppervised the shoot and completed post-production on a couple of little viral ads for the Viral Factory

U2 Vertigo tour

Called to Vancouver by Willie Williams to work on the U2 Vertigo Tour production rehearsals. Working alongside UVA, editing work by Julian Opie for “Sometimes You Can’t Make It” and “Mysterious Ways”, Jonny Hardstaff “City of Blinding Lights” and Run Wrake for “Vertigo” and “Bullet” and Catherine Owens.  I created video content for “Miracle Drug”, “40″and “Zoo Station”. It was incredibly inspiring to work with such luminaries, and a privilege to work once again with Willie Williams.

Neurenburg hosted the TV game show, “Wetten dass” on ZDF, where the the cast from the German production of WWRY Cologne were invited to perform a medley of four songs from the musical. I addapted some video from the show and also edited together some new material.

I contributed and edited visuals for former Savage Garden singer Darren Hayes for the Dark Light tour.

I made original video content for Popular and Insatiable and did a re-edit for Affirmation and a bunch of other songs.

Here’s the front cover of the Live Licks double album designed by Tom Hingston. The image was taken from the animated sequence that was projected on stage during “Honky Tonk Woman” for the Forty Licks Tour in 2002, And an extract from the animation was also used in the TV commercial for the album.

WWRY Las Vegas

WWRY opens at the Paris Hotel, Las Vegas. For which the video content had to be adapted and I made a load of new material
