ABKCO Music, the Rolling Stones record label, used an image from a sequence we made for the Rolling Stones Forty Licks Tour. The image was used for the front cover of the the Fat Boy Slim remix of “Sympathy for the Devil”. The same footage was also used in the music video.
“Duet” was planned to be the first single off Howie’s album Folk (Polydor, 2002). I came up with an idea for a promo while talking to him on the Elevation tour. We both share an interest in horses, and the idea was to cut a promo from existing footage from the Spanish Riding School in [...]
I directed this second video for Santos. Not as successfull as the first in my view. Employing similar techniques as “Camels”… buying the rights to existing footage and cutting it up.
But in this case I replaced the car chase with vintage college basketball from the 70’s, a lounge lizard on a piano replaced the Camels [...]
